The Fond du Lac School District (FDLSD) is proud to announce that three staff members—Joseph Fenrick (Fond du Lac High School science teacher), Stephanie Gonzalez (Fond du Lac High School interpreter/translator) and Jon Meyer (Waters Elementary fifth grade teacher)—are Eastern Wisconsin Excellence in Education winners.
Our outstanding educators will be honored at the awards ceremony on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Kiel Area School District Performing Arts Center. The program will be live-streamed on Green Bay WFRV Channel 5’s website.
Nominations were made by families, students, community members and school staff for employees demonstrating excellence in:
Innovation in Work: someone who demonstrates innovation in their work area
Culture Creator: someone who goes above and beyond to create a positive school culture
Social/Emotional Well-being: someone who impacts the social and emotional well-being of students or the school environment
Community Involvement: someone who positively impacts the community
Student Connection: someone who has built positive relationships with students
FDLSD joins 23 other districts, including Brillion, Campbellsport, Chilton, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, Hilbert, Howards Grove, Kiel, Kohler, Manitowoc, Mishicot, North Fond du Lac, Oakfield, Oostburg, Random Lake, Reedsville, Ripon, Rosendale-Brandon, Sheboygan, Sheboygan Falls, Stockbridge, Two Rivers, Valders and Waupun.
